Never Underestimate The Power of a Determined Witch

Posted on March 28, 2014
Katie Cross is an awesome blogger and writer who has made me laugh so hard sometimes that I've actually spit out my coffee. But don't let the funny posts on her blog make you think she only writes witty blog entries - she's also a huge fantasy buff and has written a novel of her own to add to the collection of witch-lovers everywhere.  Katie's making her author debut in her first YA novel, Miss Mabel’s School for Girls, about a young girl's journey through the sinister world of magic.

Check out the ridiculous (and by that I mean RIDICULOUS!!!) cover below along with the blurb. I haven't read the book yet, but once I read the first few pages on Amazon I moved it up on my TBR list. Check it out, you'll salivate for more!

Don't forget to visit the Miss Mabel's School For Girls Official Website for some free giveaways from March 27th through March 30th. You'll cry if you miss it!

Never underestimate the power of a determined witch.

Letum Wood is a forest of fog and deadfall, home to the quietly famous Miss Mabel’s School for Girls, a place where young witches learn the art of magic.

Sixteen-year-old Bianca Monroe has inherited a deadly curse. Determined to break free before it kills her, she enrolls in the respected school to confront the cunning witch who cast the curse: Miss Mabel.

Bianca finds herself faced with dark magic she didn't expect, with lessons more dangerous than she could have ever imagined. Will Bianca have the courage to save herself from the curse, or will Miss Mabel’s sinister plan be too powerful?

Miss Mabel’s School for Girls is the first novel in The Network Series, an exciting new fantasy collection. A gripping tale about the struggle to survive, it will take you to a new place and time, one you’ll never want to leave.
