Celebrate The Small Things : Vacations

Average weather in Valencia:
Sunny & Beautiful
Ahhh..... It's Spring.

Somewhere. But not in New Jersey. Not today.

I just came back from a 12-day family vacation in Valencia, Spain. The weather was beautiful. No. That's not enough. The weather was UNBELIEVABLE.

Then, I come home to this muck. Being inside for these past 2 days, after spending 12 days averaging 7-9 miles of walking under a splendid Springtime sun, has been utterly depressing. Where the hell is Spring? Has it been this bad the whole time I was gone? Mother Nature, can I get a little sunshine sometime this week, please?

The trip is over and our daily routine is back. After sleeping in a hotel bed that was perfectly fine, there really is nothing quite like your own bed. Your own shower. Your own closet. You own house. There's nothing like being back home, am I right?

So here are my celebrations for this week:

  • Spent time with family and made it back home in one piece. All fingers and toes accounted for.
  • Participated in A-Z throughout my vacation, except for Wednesday, the 18-hour trip home, and Thursday, the laundry and fill-up-on-food-supply day. Today I wrote a G-H-I combo entry titled, Galder, Hernan, And Ivan Are Out Of Control! Three brothers causing havoc, from the eyes of their frantic (and possibly borderline bi-polar) mother. Check it out!
  • Back on track with A-Z, Celebration Fridays, and working on my WIP. Editor came back with line edits this week. Gonna be busy making a change I thought of while on vacation. Busy Busy Busy.

So, what are you thrilled about this past week?

    1. It was a challenge, Lexa, but I got a few hours to myself by pulling the siesta card while my husband stayed with the kids at the park. When in Spain... ;-D
