A Friday Celebration With Calvin & Hobbes

Posted on May 8, 2015
Today is Friday, and it's time to take a look back at the past week and celebrate stuff we've accomplished. I think I've mentioned before that I love this idea created by Viklit.

  • Restarted my twice a week running schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a kickboxing class on Saturdays. Last Saturday was my first class, and it was awesome. I love that type of workout, but I hate the soreness on the following days. My inner thighs burned on my Tuesday run. Overall, I feel like this:

Look at those muscles!

  • Started catching up with other bloggers on their A-Z Challenge, and finished reflecting. I admit, A-Z Kicked My A$$. I haven't written a lick of fiction since. I surrendered to the procrastination muses until next Monday. The weekend will fly by.

  • Signed contract with book cover designer for my first novel in the Family Relics trilogy. Totally excited about this, but filling out the profile/questionnaire is a bit tough. I feel like this:

  • I got the FINAL version back from my editor for the first book in the Family Relics trilogy. The kindle version is on the way to being reviewed by me and a couple of friends. Just looking for any spacing issues or formatting issues for now. I can't believe the book is almost done. Now I have to start marketing. I can feel the anxiety already...

Hope your week went well.
Please share your awesomeness, and visit some of the other bloggers on the blog hop.

  1. That's great - your week told through comics! They gave me such a laugh! I feel just like you do. There's so much going on I've lost my marbles. But even though every step comes with its own set of challenges, be proud of all you've managed to accomplish. Have a lovely weekend!
