Celebrate The Small Things - Plants & Writing

It feels like Spring, right? 70-degree weather here in NJ and I'm telling you it's hard to stay inside. But I have been since I have the 90-day cough, but I have also been working on my WIP.

So here are my celebrations this week, writing and non-writing related:

1. I propogated my giant pothos ivy plant. I have no green thumb, and have killed many indoor plants, but this seems to be the only plant that likes my house. I bought it last year in March and it has grown all bushy and happy with new leaflings (I think that's what they are called) So, I separated my leafy bushy green ivy plant into several little soil pots and water-filled jars. Six containers total. I'll give an update during the summer as to how many survive my black-and-blue thumb.

2. Wrote another short for Isabel & Leo on Wattpad. It's a bit personal, and I've changed several facts, and I debated whether I wanted this out into the world -- it has been percolating in my head for months -- but in the end it was very theraputic. Some relationships are tougher than others. Check it out!

3. Chugging along with book 2 in the Family Relics series, The Onyx Ring. There is so much detail to the story that it's taking me a lot longer than expected to finish the first draft. However, I feel like it's finally flowing through my fingertips and out onto the keyboard. There's a new character that I love, love, love, and he will rock everyone's world!

Happy Friday!!!

  4. Hi Tanya, I'm just stopping by from the A to Z Challenge. If you get a chance, would you add the A to Z Challenge badge to your sidebar, preferably at or near the top so people see it when they come to your page? Thanks! Let me know if you have any trouble.
