The Unicorn Fish
Posted on April 10, 2018
There are so many different fish in the sea
You never know what you’ll find.
A bunny-like fish that hops underwater,
Or an eel with a furry behind.

Maybe a shark with purple pokadots
That likes to eat seaweed and sand,
Or a shrimp who wants to ride a baluga whale,
Or a clam with fins and fangs.

What about turtles covered in yellow sponges,
Or catfish that like to bark,
There are still so many undiscovered animals
Deep down in the ocean where it’s dark.

The most wanted sea creature has never been seen
But everyone has heard of it.
The unicorn fish with its spiky spine -
It’s got an attitude and likes to spit.

They say it slithers along the ocean floor
Not worrying about predators or prey.
It’s invisible, I’ve been told, and can only be seen
If you hold your breath for a day!
