I guess have a soft spot for the older folks... maybe because I'm slowly but surely getting there myself.

I also went "back" to programming. You can check out my portfolio - some of those projects are paying clients, some are just prototypes to prove I know what I'm talking about. I seriously enjoy programming.

In any case, I find myself coming back to writing again. I currently have a book in my head. Like, a whole book! Now I just have to start writing it.

I mentioned this to my daughter the other day and she asked, "Is it a romance? I loved your romance novel." And I smiled softly, thinking she's just being supportive. I mean, how can this young 24-year-old "love" my contemporary romance novel, right? Evidently, she was serious. She egged me on about a title, and said she would do the cover art for me (she's a graphic designer) and that now she has some online marketing experience she'd help me out with that.  

Talk about inspiration! I think she was more excited than I was. Now I feel like this book has to hit it out of the park. (That's a homerun for you young people. 😊)
